Coal City Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on Dec. 30.

Crossroads Counseling Services and Coal City School District will have a parent information session on January 6th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the CCCUSD#1 Unit Office Board Room (550 S. Carbon Hill Rd). Speaker and Trauma Specialist Timberlie Jahn, will present on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and what it means to be a trauma-informed school. We hope to see you on January 6th!
