Coal City Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on Dec. 21.
This week, Geometry students were preparing for their Unit 5 Test.
As part of their preparation, the class worked in groups to solve word problems that described real-world scenarios. The goal was to get the students to apply their newfound knowledge of right triangle trigonometry to a real-world context. Each group had to present their work and discoveries to the rest of the class.
