Eric Gibson noted that the fuel usage is currently at 25.5% and is looking good.

2. Overtim Report

Eric Gibson noted that overtime is at 68% and should hold steady the rest of the year.

XIV. Highway New Business 

A. Joint Funding Agreement for Federally Funded Construction for Gardner Road Bridges – $200,000 

Eric Gibson let the committee know that IDOT needed to make some changes to the agreement and this will have to be brought to the next meeting.

B. Resolution for Improvement Under Illinois Highway Code for Gardner Road Bridges – $240,000 

Eric Gibson let the committee know that IDOT needed to make some changes to the resolution and this will have to be brought to the next meeting.

C. Review and Approve Proposal for Elevator Pump Repair and Fire Service Keyswitch Installation 

1. Proposal for Elevator Pump Replacement and Fire Service Keyswitch Installation

Eric Gibson stated that the elevator needs to have the pump replaced and a fire service keyswitch installed. He noted that two quotes were received for the pump replacement and it was decided to use KONE. He requested approval from the committee as the cost is $29,950.

D. Certificate of Authority by Vote for the County Engineer to Enter into Joint Agreement Contracts with State of Illinois 

1. Certificate of Authority by Vote to Enter into Joint Agreement Contract with State

Eric Gibson requested approval for a certificate of authority by vote to enter into a joint agreement contract with the State regarding the yearly salt contract. The State is now requiring this to be uploaded when placing the salt request for the contract.

E. Resolution Requesting Consent to the Reappointment of the Incumbent as County Engineer 

1. Resolution Requesting Consent to the Reappointment of the Incumbent as County Engineer

Eric Gibson noted that it is coming up on 6 years since he was appointed County Engineer and a resolution requesting consent from IDOT to reappoint needs to be approved prior to doing a resolution for reappointment. He asked for approval to send to County Board.
