On Saturday, April 19, former Minooka Community High School standout Jacob Cook’s current college team, the Missouri S&T Miners, lost 9-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.

The game took place at Historic Simmons Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Miners’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 2 p.m. at Robertson Woods Field against Upper Iowa Peacocks.
