Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) recently discussed the legislative process with the Illinois Bankers Association’s Future Leaders Alliance program class of 2023.
“This morning I had the opportunity to speak with the Illinois Bankers Association’s Future Leaders Alliance Class of 2023 about the legislative process,”Rezin posted on Facebook. “This program brings together representatives of the banking industry across Illinois to foster and develop leadership skills of those working in our state’s banking community.”
Rezin’s appearance was part of the organization’s Economic Investment Day. The Illinois Bankers Association highlighted her appearance in their own Facebook post. “State Senator Sue Rezin spoke at the second session of the Future Leaders Alliance. She provided great insight into the legislative process here in Springfield.”
The Future Leaders Alliance is a program for business people to teach banking leaders in a variety of areas, from leadership and influence; leading for success in sales and service; advocacy; collaboration and team building; and other topics. Two hundred and fifty individuals have completed the program.
Participants must complete two hours of financial literacy instruction for a local school, retirement home, community, or non-profit group during the program year, complete continuing education, and create an advancement strategy project for their bank.
