Sen. Rezin enlists voters to contribute to Veterans Day ‘Wall of Honor’

Illinois state Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) is soliciting the help of constituents in constructing a “Wall of Honor” at the Illinois state Capital to mark the upcoming Veterans Day holiday.

Rezin is asking residents of her 38th District to submit photos and tributes to loved ones that will be used as part of the almost two-week tribute in Springfield. Along with the photo, families are also asked to submit written stories about their family members with details about their service experience such as military branch and what conflict they served in.

Email submissions can be submitted at veteransday@sgop.iga.gov and mailed submissions can be submitted by Nov. 3 to Veterans Day Wall, 309 G Statehouse, Springfield, IL 62706.
