Village of Minooka Board of Trustees met July 25.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

Village President, Patrick Brennan called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Members present: Terry Houchens, Chad Hrechko, Dennis Martin, Dick Parrish and Barry Thompson. Members

Absent: Trustee Dave Deahl. Also present: Dan Duffy, Village Administrator and Justin Meyer, Village Police Chief.

Changes to Agenda – No changes.

Review of Minutes – Minutes of the Village Board Meeting of June 27, 2017 were reviewed. Trustee Houchens moved, Trustee Hrechko seconded the motion to accept the minutes of June 27, 2017 Village Board Meeting as presented.

Ayes: Hrechko, Martin, Houchens, Parrish, Thompson

Nays: None

Absent: Deahl

Motion carried.

Bills and Transfers - Trustee Martin moved, Trustee Thompson seconded the motion to approve the Bills and Transfers as presented.

Ayes: Martin, Houchens, Thompson, Hrechko, Parrish

Nays: None

Absent: Deahl

Treasurer’s Report - Trustee Martin moved, Trustee Thompson seconded the motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report as presented.

Consent Agenda – Mr. Dan Duffy read the titles of two (2) items (9A-9B). Trustee Thompson moved, Trustee Martin seconded the motion to accept the Consent Agenda.

Resolution Accepting Low Bidder Nino’s Landscaping for the 2017 Tree Replacement Contract ($44,999.68) – Trustee Thompson moved, Trustee Parrish seconded the motion to pass Resolution #2017R-2096, Accepting Low Bidder Nino’s Landscaping for the 2017 Tree Replacement Contract ($44,999.68).

Staff Reports – Mr. Duffy stated that the staff reports stands as submitted.

Liquor Commission Report – Consideration of a Class “E” (Special Event) Liquor License, Roxi’s Gaming Parlor - Ending stop for the 1st Annual Motorcycle Ride to benefit Teamsters Local 700 Benevolent Fund in honor of Anthony Sanfratello (Location of event is parking lot of Roxi’s Gaming Parlor 524 W. Mondamin St – Unit 6; August 6, 2017) with a time stipulation that the event is only from noon to 4:00 pm. – Trustee Thompson moved, Trustee Hrechko seconded the motion to approve a Class “E” (Special Event) Liquor License, Roxi’s Gaming Parlor - Ending stop for the 1st Annual Motorcycle Ride to benefit Teamsters Local 700 Benevolent Fund in honor of Anthony Sanfratello (Location of event is parking lot of Roxi’s Gaming Parlor 524 W. Annexation Committee Report – President Brennan stated that there was nothing to report.

As Appropriate – Trustee Thompson reminded everyone that McEvilly Road will be closed starting on July 26, 2017 for around two (2) weeks in order to complete the McEvilly Road bike path project.

Trustee Thompson moved, Trustee Parrish seconded the motion to adjourn at 7:14 p.m. All voted aye, meeting adjourned.
