BUILDING REPORT

Mr. Hussey informed the BOE articulation between schools has resulted in increased better discussion and relationships on a variety of topics.

The 2nd year of state mandated student growth implementation for teacher evaluations has 100% of MCHS teachers in compliance with the requirement to create and implement Type II and III student assessment plans.

A proposed change in the graduation requirement from “keyboarding” to “technology” was presented.

Judie Roth suggested the Pause for Applause commendations be posted to the MCHS Facebook page.

Mr. Hussey stated a letter was received from the I-8 Conference stating that 8 of the member schools are withdrawing from the conference at the end of the 2018-2019 school year and inviting MCHS as well as 7 other schools to meet with Sandwich and Plano to discuss a possible conference relationship.
