Coal City High School issued the following announcement on July 11.
It might be summertime but great learning opportunities are still taking place at CCHS. On Monday, Billy Glascock (Director of Player Personnel at North Carolina State), spoke to our athletes who are involved with our Coalers with Character program. Today, Katie (Trotter) Kargol (Coaler Alum), spoke to our Youth Theatre Kids and even brought along the Emmy she won while a Lighting Director/Designer for the Oprah Winfrey Show. A big thank you to both of these quality professionals for sharing their time and message.
