How much has Nettle Creek CCSD 24C overspent over the past 10 years?

Nettle Creek Community Consolidated School District 24C accumulated $767,911 in debt between fiscal years 2008 and 2017, according to a Grundy Reporter analysis of public schools data.

Spending and revenue data obtained for this analysis comes from the Illinois Local Education Agency Retrieval Network (ILEARN), which is part of the Illinois State Board of Education and collects data annually on school district financials.

Over the 10-year span, Nettle Creek CCSD 24C reported 10.8 percent more revenue. At the same time, total spending went up 47.7 percent.
