The Village of Coal City Planning & Zoning Board met Aug. 8.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

At 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, Chairman Georgette Vota called to order the meeting of the Coal City Planning and Zoning Board in the boardroom of the Village Hall. Roll call-Members; Maria Lewis, Jill Breneman, Richard Crotteau, Georgette Vota, John Hawkinson, and Irving DeWald. Absent; Amanda Burns. Also in attendance were Matt Fritz, village administrator, Richard "Bob" Malone, building and zoning official, attorney Mark Heinle and Trustee David Spesia.

Mr. Fritz presented the Findings of Fact regarding the Amended Preliminary and Final PUD, Rezoning and Conditional Uses pertaining to the Hoffman Property Holding, LLC Development. Changes and revisions were described. A brief summary of the Findings of Fact and recommendation to the Village Board was presented.

Attorney Heinie explained the changes and revisions in the Findings of Fact that were distributed to this Board for review. The new changes will be included in the final draft.

Following discussion, Hawkinson moved to approve the findings of Facts and recommend to the Village Board of Trustees the Amended Preliminary and Final Planned Unit Development Plat, Conditional Use and Zoning Map Approval, second by Lewis. Roll call-Ayes; Lewis, Breneman, Crotteau, Vota, Hawkinson, and DeWald. Nays; none. Absent; Burns. Motion carried.

Crotteau moved to adjourn the meeting, second by Lewis. Roll call-Ayes; Lewis, Breneman, Crotteau, Vota, Hawkinson and DeWald. Nays; none. Absent; Burns. Motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
