Coal City High School issued the following announcement on Sept. 6.
Members of the science club participated in the first of several service projects planned for the year, spending part of their afternoon sprucing up the north courtyard. Weeds were pulled, pavement was swept, weed guard was installed and rose bushes were trimmed and pruned.
