Coal City Intermediate School issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
We are off to a great start of the year in the Intermediate School Art classes! Students are excited about learning about modern artists and art all around the world this year!
We have kicked off the year with fourth graders showing off their creativity by creating some Peter Max and Beatles inspired landscapes, and our 5th graders traveling around the world as they learn about Icelandic traditions and color schemes while creating their Monochromatic mountain and northern light scenes. 5th Graders are also collaborating on a large mural which we have up in the coming month showing off our new knowledge of Mexican culture and radial symmetry in our Talavera tile project!
