City of Prospect Heights McDonald Creek Commission met Aug. 28.

Here is the minutes provided by the Commission:

I. OPENING ITEMS

Last meeting 6/26/18 - no minutes yet

II. OLD BUSINESS

A. City Council Workshop Meeting presentation rescheduled for Sept. 12. Jon will present.

B. Homeowner mailing -- 100 brochures with letter mailed last week.

III. NEW BUSINESS

A. Willow Road flooding report from Aug. 27 City Council meeting -- No report, no one able to attend

B. IL Waterway Clean-Up Week Sept. 9-15 -- Information vague and contacts focused elsewhere

C. Commission response to resident reports -- 1001 Edward Road homeowners in attendance after receiving our mailing. They are concerned about erosion on their property because the creek runs about 30 feet from their home. Large woody debris is also a concern; a tree and several large limbs fell in the creek in the past week. We referred them to Public Works for smaller debris problems and

MWRD for larger debris.

IV. ADJOURNED 7:00 pm.
