Coal City Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.
This week in Mrs. Krippel’s 8th grade pre-algebra class, students were exploring what it means to simplify expressions by using digital manipulatives.
After making the discovery, students were able to practice their skills with their peers. Next week they will be able to use the skills they mastered for simplifying expression to solve equations! In Mrs. Krippel’s 8th grade algebra class, students were mastering their skills on how to solve equations and inequality. Students were able to enjoy the beautiful weather while showing off their math skills in a colorful and engaging way.
