B. Clerk's Report

Kay Olson told the committee that 630 vote by mail ballots were sent out and since Thursday have had 150 early voters. The specimen ballot for the General Election will be published in the newspaper next week and on the County's website. She also stated that since September 18th, petitions have been available for the April School Board election.

V. Supervisor of Assessments

B. Assessor Report

Tom Hougas requested separate recommendations for each staff member that are being considered for deputy status. He also updated the committee on the Township/MTAD reimbursement bills/balances for Township Assessor work performed from June 16, 2018 - September 28, 2018.

Hougas told the committee that the BOR hearing begin next Tuesday, finalizing mid-November and closing 2018 Assessment activity by the end of November.

The Annual Township Assessor meeting is scheduled for December 4, 2018 at 5pm in the County Board room.

1. Discussion of Utilizing EDPA Funds for Infrastructure Improvements.

Nancy Norton, GEDC updated the committee on the meetings with developers for Brisbin Road. She said that the developers are in the process of proving how much investment they need to make for the infrastructure to become competitive in the market to attract business in that area.
