Coal City Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.
The students in Miss Green and Mrs. Owensby's room are utilizing their technology.
The students use chrome books throughout the days in many different ways! They have a google classroom for each subject and often use chrome books to listen to audiobooks for reading time. They use their SMART Board to work on literacy skills by playing fun review games. They also use them to access their I ready math. During the day, the class uses a smart board to guide their learning. The teachers are able to pull up stories for the week and access the students dojo points! Along with the smart board, they use ipads to access books we would like to read and they love using learning apps as well!
