Grundy Area Vocational Center issued the following announcement on Nov. 5.
We are proud to announce that the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office hires three former GAVC Criminal Justice students. They are Thomas Youskevtch, Coal City High School; Tyler Post, Morris High School; and Alicia Headrick, Wilmington High School. They were the top three candidates after the Deputy Sheriff testing was completed.
Tyler Post will start his Field Training Program after completing over one year of service with the Wisconsin Highway Patrol.
Thomas Youskevtch and Alicia Headrick will start a 14-week police academy training on October 1st. GAVC is proud of the accomplishments of these former students. Good luck in your law enforcement career!
