Coal City Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on Nov. 22.
Mrs. Cowherd’s class will once again be sponsoring a Winter Coat Closet. It will be open for shopping on December 10th from 4:15 – 5:30 at Coal City Intermediate School.
Construction will be finished so you will still enter through Door 1. Students will be there to greet you and show you your way upstairs to shop. We have winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, limited selection of shoes and boots and snow pants. There is also a small selection of winter clothes.
