The City Council of the City of Vienna met, Wednesday November 14, 2018 at Vienna City Hall with the following members and guest:
ELECTED/APPOINTED OFFICIALS PRESENT:
Jon Simmons, Mayor
Alan Racey, Alderman
Cheryl Myrick, Alderman
Richard Owen, Alderman
Debbie Riddle, Alderman
Melissa Hill, Alderman
Aleatha Wright, City Clerk
ELECTED/APPOINTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: Austin Tuey, Alderman
GUESTS:
Tiffany George, Southern Five Planning Dist.
There being a quorum, Mayor Simmons called the meeting of the Vienna City Council to order at 5:00 p.m.
NEW BUSINESS
Alderman Myrick made a motion to Authorize and Approve Resolution 18-12, A Resolution of Support/Commitment for the City of Vienna, IL to apply for a Safe Route to School grant through the Illinois Dept of Transportation. Alderman Riddle seconded the motion, Motion carried: Yes-5, No-0, Absent-1.
As there was no further business to discuss Alderman Owen made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Alderman Racey. Motion carried.
Mayor Simmons declared the meeting adjourned at 5:05 p.m.
