Coal City High School issued the following announcement on Dec. 7.
Transition's staff (Jen Rolley, Karen Carlson, and Debra Campos) support students within our program and community settings.
Transition paraprofessionals have an important role of helping train students on their job sites. An individual-centered planning process is used to discover student strengths, needs, and desires for working. The transition vocational program helps increase training for future employment. Transition paraprofessionals work as job coaches to support student's individual employment aspirations. Current job sites include, Coal City High School, Dr. Micetich Eye Clinic, Coal City Early Childhood Center, Babe's Tap, Tire Warehouse, Coal City Elementary School, and Coal City Pharmacy.
