Administrators in Nettle Creek Community Consolidated School District 24C earn an average of $63,333 per year, ranking 831st out of 864 districts in the state, according to a Grundy Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 35.5% lower than in 2014 and 34.9% lower than in 2009. District administrators make 41% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Grundy County school district enrolled 86 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 57 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
