B. Report

Helland discussed the Fixed Fee Agreement for Legal Services. He stated that the purpose of the agreement with Canna & Canna LTD. is to have a fixed fee of $240 per month for routine services such as day-to-day phone calls and emails for which the firm need not do further research. The agreement, including resolution will be presented to the County Board for formal action.

XIII. New/Old Business

Under Old Business, the committee reviewed the liquor license request for Brent's Burgers & Beer.

1. Utilizing the Administration Building as Warming Center

Representatives from Grundy Area PADS and local church attended the meeting to express their concerns with the County Administration Building being closed due to cold weather, therefore not being available for a warming center. Options to remain open for a warming center will be explored.

2. Motion to approve the Class A license in the amount of $1500.
