George Gray gave an update on the FY 2019 Budget. Budget is on track and no concerns.

George Gray updated the committee on fundraising events possible for Animal Control.

VII. Joliet Slammers Fundraising Discussion

George Gray explained the Joliet Fundraiser Event for Animal Control and that participation from Animal

Control will allow them to receive fund raising dollars from the event.

IX. Update on Transit Grants

Mrs. Zerbian updated the committee that the New GATA update will be delaying the first reimbursements and that the 2nd quarter will possibly be delayed.

Mrs. Zerbian noted that this is taking place statewide.

XI. Old Business Transit

Sherey Zerbian explained to the committee that the Transit System is now fully staffed with 6 Part time Drivers and 1 floater that can fill in when a driver is absent.

XIII. Fuel Usage and Overtime

Mr. Gibson explained that fuel usage is being monitored and tracked but relies on the weather this time of year.

Mr. Gibson updated the committee on the status of delivery of the salt conveyor and hopper.

XIV. New Business Highway

No new business.

XV. Old Business Highway

Mr. Gibson explained that a short list has been assembled for the highway maintainer list and interviews will be scheduled for the upcoming week.

Mr. Gibson updated the committee of the status of hiring engineering technician, civil engineer, and a summer technician.

Mr. Gibson informed the committee on the status of the snow bird program and the snow plowing procedures.

XVI. Ridge Road Update

Eric explained that the construction and maintenance agreement has been received by CN railroad and comments were sent back for the railroad to address.

Eric explained that the next step in the ridge road process is to set an ICC hearing to set the agreements in place with both railroad and also to procure funding.

Project documents are 99% complete by Wight awaiting only small changes to come from railroad review comments. Project documents are on schedule to make letting dates.

The new letting date will be June 14th, 2019 that is relying on the completion of the ICC hearing and their orders.

Eric updated the committee on the ICC process and expressed the importance of a hearing in the near future. There will need to be 2 hearings to complete the process. One is scheduled for February 6th and the county is awaiting a date for the other.
