By Press release submission | Mar 12, 2019

Coal City High School issued the following announcement on March 11.

In Miss Wagner’s Algebra 1 class, students are learning how to factor; a very important mathematical concept that applies to all the math classes at Coal City High School.

Her Algebra 1 students are learning that sometimes they can factor trinomials (expressions with three terms) into two binomials (expressions with two terms)! While in Miss Wagner’s geometry class, students are collaborating with group members to successfully answer questions in regards to circles. Here students are required to use specific terminology and theorems to find missing angle and arc measures. They are also tasked with calculating segment lengths equations of circles later on in the review worksheet.
