South Wilmington home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in South Wilmington fell by $9,000 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $145,000 - a 5.8% decrease over the $154,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in South Wilmington in the first quarter of 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in South Wilmington for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,757.60, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
