South Wilmington home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in South Wilmington rose by $59,500 while total sales decreased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $133,500 - a 80.4% increase over the $74,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in South Wilmington in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in South Wilmington for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,757.60, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
