The scheduled meeting of the Diamond Village Board was held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. with Commissioner of Finance Denise Brown presiding. Upon roll call Commissioners present were Jeff Kasher and Dave Warner. Absent: Mark Adair and Mayor Teresa Kernc.
Approval of Minutes
MOTION was made by Commissioner Kasher, SECOND by Commissioner Warner to approve the 02/26/2018 regular meeting minutes. All Ayes; Motion Carried.
Approval of Bill List
MOTION was made by Commissioner Kasher, SECOND by Commissioner Warner to approve the March 13, 2019 bill lists. All Ayes; Motion Carried.
Approval of the Treasurer’s Report
MOTION was made by Commissioner Warner, SECOND by Commissioner Kasher to approve the Treasurer’s Report and place it on file. All Ayes; Motion Carried.

Legal Counsel
Village Attorney John Gallo stated the March 26, 2019 meeting will include the recommended approval from the Planning and Zoning Board regarding the trap shooting project. Gallo stated the March 4, 2019 Public Hearing regarding the project had a large turn out and most concerns were regarding drainage issues for those residents near the proposed site. Gallo stated there will be a Public Hearing at the March 26, 2019 meeting to vacate 2 alleys and a street for the project. The March 26, 2019 meeting will include development agreement, subdivision plat, re-zoning and additional amendments, etc. regarding this project as well.

Commissioner Kasher stated he contacted the Grundy County Highway Department and placed the order for 150 tons of road salt for next year’s winter season. The Village should know by October 2019 who the contract winner was and the price per ton which the village will be charged.
