Morris home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Morris rose by $30,750 while total sales decreased by 1.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 82 homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,750 - a 18.1% increase over the $170,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 83 homes sold in Morris in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Morris for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,764, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
