IV. Public Comment

Ken Iverson attended the meeting to discuss the decision of the Personnel Committee to pass on the entire County Health Insurance premium increase onto the employees. He told the committee that he had changed his mind and feels that the County can afford it and in an effort to show the employees appreciation, the County should absorb the premium increase.

V. Budget Reporting

George Gray reported that at 88.5% through FY19 the General Fund revenues are at 84%, expenditures 70%.

VI. New Business

A. Review/Approve Tenative Tax Levies

Matt Melvin reviewed the 2019 Levy Worksheet which reflects a 1.44% ($209,253) decrease from 2018.

VII. Old Business

A. Tentative FY19 Amended Budget and Tentative FY20 Budget Updates

Matt Melvin reviewed the proposed General Fund changes to the proposed FY19 amended and FY20 budgets since the 10/7/19 Finance meeting. The FY19 Amended budget would report a General Fund net income of $453,739 with the changes (previously reported $385,239). The FY20 budget would report a General Fund net income of $266,269 with the changes (previously reported $287,589). The consensus of the committee was to authorize the proposed changes to be made. No action was taken.
