Coal City Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.
Some of Ms. Horrie’s math classes have finished algebraic expressions and are now solving equations and inequalities.
They are picking it up pretty quickly. We have also been having competitions in class using live games from websites, such as Quizlet, Kahoot, and Quizizz. The games are very fun and the students get to practice the concepts while also being a little competitive. Another class is just finishing up on the topic, Percents. They also love the competition on those computer competition websites. It’s such a fun way to strengthen their comprehension and also have some fun.
