The building and grounds/finance committee meeting convened at 4:30 p.m. in the board room.
Capital Improvement Plan
The Capital Improvement Plan and the potential for installing turf, a scoreboard, and replacement bleachers were discussed. The discussion included possible fundraising and financing options, as well as the anticipated cost savings and benefit of the turf field to multiple groups.
Staffing Discussion
Staffing considerations for FY21 were discussed, including the potential savings that could come from consolidating or eliminating certain teaching positions based on anticipated retirements and resignations.
Mr. Walker’s contract was discussed, and the idea of paying him overtime for special circumstances was proposed.
