Morris Community High School District 101 Board of Education met November 18.

The Board of Education of Morris Community High School District 101 was convened at 6:15 p.m. for the purpose of conducting a hearing to propose the use of e-learning days that shall permit student instruction to be received electronically while students are not physically present in lieu of the district’s scheduled emergency days.
Dr. Ortiz indicated the plan would take effect after board approval and continue through the 2021- 2022 school year for a three period.
President Hastings asked if there were any questions or if anyone would like to comment or present written testimony. There was no public participation in the form of verbal comments and no written comments were submitted or received.
President Hastings then asked for a motion to adjourn the hearing.
A motion was made by Mr. Danek and SECONDED by Mrs. Brown to adjourn the hearing. On voice vote, those voting AYE: All. NAY: None. MOTION CARRIED.
The hearing was declared closed at 6:16 p.m
