Also Present: Superintendent Dr. Craig Ortiz
The Board of Education of Morris Community High School District 101 was convened on December 16, 2019 at 6:17 p.m. by President Scot Hastings for the purpose of conducting a Truth in Taxation hearing.
President Hastings declared the hearing open.
Dr. Ortiz indicated he based the tax levy on an estimated EAV and ballooned the figures to capture all monies.
President Hastings then asked for questions. No questions were forthcoming.
On a motion made by Mrs. Puckett and SECONDED by Mrs. Vermillion the hearing was adjourned. On voice vote, those voting AYE: All. NAY: None. MOTION CARRIED.
The hearing was declared adjourned at 6:18 p.m.
