Grundy Area Vocational Center issued the following announcement on April 20.
For the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, the GAVC Central Office will be closed to the
public, but anyone wishing to view GAVC Executive Board meetings via videoconferencing or
members of the public without access to sufficient technology to access the meeting may contact the administration in advance of the meeting to request appropriate accommodations.
Anyone who wishes to share a comment with the GAVC Executive Board during the Audience Participation portion of the meeting can do so by emailing Lance Copes, GAVC Director, at lcopes@gavc-il.org in advance of the meeting and the email will be read during Audience Participation. Messages may be left up to one hour prior to the Board Meeting. Only messages left at the specified email address during the specified time will be read, and messages will be limited to three minutes. Anonymous messages will not be played. The GAVC Executive Board President will play as many of these comments as time allows and they will be incorporated into meeting minutes as usual. The Board President may decide to restrict the total time for comments to 30 minutes.
