There was one offender released on parole during 2019 that lives in Gardner zip code 60424, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Grundy Reporter.

The data shows that the released offender was Chance M. Templet. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017, when he was 39. He is now 42.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
