Morris Ambulance And Fire Protection District responded to 292 calls in 2018 - same as the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Morris Ambulance And included 75 fires - 34 structure fires, 13 vehicle fires and 28 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $565,350 in fire loss - or about $7,538 per fire.

The department also received 216 false calls, including four malicious calls and 212 other false calls.
