Coal City Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.
October is always such a busy month at Coal City Early Childhood Center. We have been celebrating Red Ribbon Week all week. Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign celebrating being drug-free. At the ECC, we change the theme slightly and celebrate making good choices! The students participated in themed dress-up days each day and we ended the week with our Halloween celebration. Halloween may not have happened as it always has in the past, but we were still able to have so much fun. Each class paraded through the gym one class at a time and parents were able to view the parade on Facebook live! At the end of the day, we played a whole school BINGO game on Google Meet. The class with a BINGO had to call the office and then earned a prize. It has been an exhausting, but very fun week at the ECC! http://edl.io/n1328960
