Maine Township issued the following announcement on July 27
Anticipated Due Date for 2020 Second Installment Property Tax Bill is October 1, 2021
According to the Cook County Treasurer, Maria Pappas, she anticipates the mailing of the 2021 tax bills to be sent in late August. She also stated the anticipated due date is October 1, 2021.
When you receive you bill, you should review it to ensure you have received all the correct exemptions you are entitled to.
Cook County Assessor 2021 Appeal Dates are July 23rd Through August 23rd, 2021
The Cook County Assessor has officially opened Maine Township for appeals. If you wish to file an appeal through our office, we ask that you contact us on or before Wednesday, August 18th to ensure everything is processed prior to the Cook County Assessor’s close date of August 23rd, 2021.
