On Sept. 20, Harland and Vickie Smoots sold their home at 575 W. Daisy Place, Coal City to Richard C. Reiner II for $283,000.

The property tax paid for this property in 2018 was $5,836.82. This is 2.06% of the sale price of the home.

So far in September 2021, five properties sold in Coal City.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, Harland T. Smoots has been registered to vote since 1991 and has voted in at least six primary elections, records show, including three Democratic Primaries and three Republican Primaries. Vickie L. Smoots has been registered to vote since 1991 and has voted in at least one primary election, records show, including one Democratic Primary.

There were no other registered voters living at the residence as of Oct. 10, 2020.
