On Dec. 20, John and Meredith M. Wren purchased a home at 530 N. Lincoln St., Coal City from Margaret Ragain for $195,000.

The amount paid for property taxes on this property in 2018 was $3,527.88, 1.81% of the sale price of the home.

This home last sold on Nov. 9, 2015 for $165,000.

So far in December 2019, two properties sold in Coal City.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, Margaret a Ragain has been registered to vote since 1960 and has voted in at least eight primary elections, records show, including seven Democratic Primaries and one Republican Primary. Meredith Marie Wren has been registered to vote since 2020 and has voted in at least two primary elections, records show, including one Republican Primary.

There were no other registered voters living at the residence as of Oct. 10, 2020.
