Morris home prices rose in the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Morris rose by $5,900 while total sales decreased by 47.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 37 homes sold, with a median sale price of $229,900 - a 2.6% increase over the $224,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 71 homes sold in Morris in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Morris for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,998, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
