The second half of 2021: Home prices in Mazon fell

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Mazon fell by $52,750 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $116,250 - a 31.2% decrease over the $169,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Mazon in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Mazon for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,530, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
