Grundy County Job Crawl – a unique job fair – May 18

10

Are you struggling to find candidates to fill open positions? We are excited to announce the

Grundy County Job Crawl on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

The purpose of this one-day event is to connect employers with job seekers and get our community back to work! If you have open job vacancies, we encourage your participation.

This concept is like a job fair, but with much more flexibility for your business. Upon registration, we will include your business as a participant in this event. The three options for participation include the following.

  1. Encourage job seekers to stop at your location on May 18th to submit their resume/application and personally meet hiring staff.
  2. Recruit job seekers outside of your place of business, like a traditional job fair. Job fair meeting space is available at the Grundy Workforce Services, Morris.
  3. List your company name as actively hiring and encourage candidates to apply online.
Face-to-face recruiting events produces a better employee. This is a great opportunity to fill vacancies for full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions.

Event sponsors will promote this event through social media, eblasts, text alerts, and at local events. We also look for your support in spreading the word about the Grundy County Job Crawl.  Once registered for the event, you will be supplied with promotional material that can be emailed, posted on social media, or printed and distributed.

Registration must be completed by April 13th to include your business in all promotional/marketing material.

For additional information contact Tabatha Greene via email tgreene@jjc.edu or by phone 815-280-6828 and to register for this one-day event click here.
