Sen. Sue Rezin announced what to do during the spring-cleaning week.
In a May 22 Tweet, Rezin reminded Grundy County residents of Morris' annual spring-cleaning week.
"Morris' Annual Spring-Cleaning Week is Monday, May 23rd - Friday, May 27th. Dispose of an unlimited amount of unwanted items by setting them at the curb on regular garbage days. This excludes hazardous waste. For more details, call 815-585-7441," tweeted Rezin.
The City of Morris announced the annual spring-cleaning week in their own Facebook post on May 9. It read: The City of Morris' annual spring-cleaning week is Monday, May 23rd through Friday, May 27th. You can dispose of an unlimited amount of unwanted items by placing them at the curb on your normal garbage day. This service excludes hazardous waste (paint, chemicals, tires, etc.), appliances, white goods, and all electronics. For questions regarding items not accepted, please call 815-585-7441.
Individuals participating in the cleanup can dispose of an unlimited amount of unwanted items (except household hazardous waste and white goods) by placing them at the curb on their regular garbage day pickup.
