Senator Sue Rezin attended the 2022 Health Summit hosted by the National Foundation (NFWL) for Women Legislators to introduce a panel.
“As an Executive Board member of the NFWL, I participated in the 2022 Health Summit in Washington, D.C.,” she wrote on Facebook.
On June 20, the organization tweeted:
“We had such an amazing time at our annual HealthCare Summit !!! Here are more pictures of many of our elected women, leaders and speakers leading discussions on healthcare and its advancement through policies and action #nfwl #healthcare #womeninoffice #womeninpolitics”
WSPY News reported Rezin sponsored House Bill 5506 which allows high school students to enroll in dual enrollment.
Founded in 1971, the NFWL is a resource for women at all levels of elected office.
Membership in NFWL is automatically granted at no charge to the over 5,000 elected women in the country on the state, county and municipal levels.
WSILTV reported Rezin, as part of the Illinois Joint Committee on Administrative Rules, voted to not Governor J.B. Pritzker’s effort to extend the school mask mandate back in February.
The Summit was held from June 16 to 17 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Washington, D.C. The events can be seen here.
