Discussion was held regarding the proper procedure for transferring the squads to the requesting parties. The matter will be further addressed at the next meeting.
F. Thompson Machine Guns
Sheriff Briley asked for direction on what to do with the guns and was directed to reach out to ATF for information.
G. Unit Citation Award-Pro Act
Briley shared the award given by the City of Morris.
H. MADD E-Mail - DUI Satuaration 5/17/22
The Sheriff shared the email recognizing the department and their efforts for DUI arrests.
I. Additional School Resource Officer Request
Sheriff Briley requested six additional deputies to provide an SRO at all South Wilmington, Braceville, Mazon and Nettle Creek schools. Discussion was held. No action was taken.
J. Flock Cameras
Briley discussed the effectiveness of the flock cameras.
