Illinois State Senate Committee on Elections and Credentials met March 22.

Here is the minutes as provided by the committee:

I. CALL TO ORDER

      A regular meeting of the Senate Committee on Elections and Credentials (EC) was called to order at 12:30 pm with Chair Graber presiding.

II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

      The minutes of the February 22, 2022, meeting was approved as distributed by roll call vote.

      Yes:        Graber, Farber, Friedman, Harris, Ingold

      No:          None

      Abstain: None

III. PUBLIC COMMENT

      No requests received.

IV. CHAIR’S REMARKS

      Chair Graber did not have any remarks today.

V. OLD BUSINESS

      EC.22.03, Eligibility for the AP Electorate

      Stone shared data with the committee for review. Stone will revise the data provided and the committee will continue to review the data over the summer and continue this discussion in the fall.

      EP.22.04, Part time Students Eligible for Student Electorate

      No discussion was had.

      EP.22.05, Online Students Eligible for Student Electorate

      No discussion was had.

VI. NEW BUSINESS

      No new business.

VII. ADJOURNMENT

      The meeting was adjourned at 1:40 pm.
