The Public Relations & Marketing department at Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers’ recently received a Pinnacle Award from the Illinois Society for Healthcare Marketing & Public Relations (ISHMPR) in the Website Design/Development category.
The award was presented at the ISHMPR conference held Oct. 13-14 in East Peoria, Ill. According to ISHMPR, the Pinnacle Awards program is designed to recognize excellence in clear and effective marketing and public relations communication. The Website Design and Development category judged intranet and internet websites on creativity, complexity and user-friendliness.

One of the greatest enhancements to the new website is a custom-designed provider directory featuring more search options for people seeking a new provider. Additional significant enhancements included reorganization and simplification of content, providing an improved mobile experience, brighter design, and smoother user navigation.
With more than 1.3 million page views in 2021, the Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers website provides the community easy access to information about services, locations, job openings and visitor guidelines. Users can search for a provider on the Morris Hospital Medical Staff, access the patient portals and patient forms, pay their bill, make a donation, and more.
Serving patients at 28 locations, Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers includes the 89-bed Morris Hospital, as well as physician offices in Braidwood, Channahon, Diamond, Dwight, Gardner, Marseilles, Mazon, Minooka, Morris, Newark, Seneca, Ottawa and Yorkville. Through the services of over 1,700 healthcare professionals, physicians and volunteers, Morris Hospital provides lifesaving cardiac intervention with angioplasty and stents, a radiation therapy center for cancer patients, state-of-the-art intensive care unit, sleep center, and urgent care services.
