Mrs. Ness’s fourth-grade class just had their second mini-mall of the year.

Mini-mall is an opportunity for students to become entrepreneurs in the classroom. Students can make a homemade product, market it, and sell it to the class for Bo-Ness bucks on our mini-mall day. We have four classroom mini-malls per year. Following the buying/selling segment, there is a classroom auction. During the auction, students can purchase passes for various privileges, such as pizza with the teacher, lunch with a friend, show and tell, and a teacher’s chair for the day. Students did an excellent job bringing their creativity into class while functioning within a mini-economy.
